Alan's sons Justin and Christopher, as well as Christopher's friend, came to see if old people can really fun, fun of us and perform CPR. Here they are arriving on a beautiful fall day on the farm:

Christopher assures us he is trained in emergency care

Glenn prepared a spectacular lasagna dinner, giving us the classic pasta feast that real marathoners eat the day before a race. Here we are at the dinner table, trying to figure out how to transport everyone around to the various relay exchanges and not leave anyone behind.

5 graduate degrees and some young, agile minds trying to solve a simple problem

Eventually we had to face the music, and we went to run. The day was perfect for running, although the same could not be said for us. We all successfully completed our segments, and finished ahead of many of the other relay teams, including some much younger ones.

Mark, Scott, Carl and Phil begin the celebration early, and prepare to taunt Alan
